Designed in partnership with gardening specialist Huw Richards, these propagation trays come with cells that are specifically designed to promote healthy seedling growth. The HR10 and HR20 trays have dimensions of 230mm x 96mm x 60mm and 230mm x 202mm x 60mm, respectively.
The Huw Richards range includes the HR10 tray with 10 cells and the HR20 tray with 20 cells, designed for hobbyists and home gardeners who tend not to require as many cells as commercial growers. For propagation trays that feature the same design as our Huw Richards range but with more cells, see our 40L seed trays.
Huw Richards seed trays are versatile and their design supports the healthy growth of different types of seedlings. We recommend using them for nursery stock, perennials, bedding, vegetable and salad plants.
You can purchase our Huw Richards propagation trays with lids or without. The specially sized lids create a controlled environment, maintaining the ideal humidity and temperature for seed germination.

Small seed trays for your garden
Our Huw Richards propagation trays come in two cell configurations: HR10 with 10 cells and HR20 with 20 cells. Like our popular 40L seed trays, the HR range have anti-spiral root ribs to assist air-pruning and support robust seedling growth. Need something bigger? Our 600 x 400 seed trays have between 84-345 cells for large, efficient yields.
Eco-friendly plant propagation
Constructed from UV-stabilised, recyclable polypropylene, these trays are built to last and can provide 10+ years of use. Unlike flimsy, single-use trays, this range and all of our seed trays are designed to endure multiple growing seasons, providing a sustainable solution that reduces plastic waste. Plus, their clean lines make it easy to sterilise the tray between uses.
